Trix, you forget that Hillary was ELECTED to the Senate, then reelected for a second term. She went against some formidable opponents and had to get the support of conservatives in upstate New York to win her seat, then again to keep it 6 years later.

To dismiss her ability to get votes would be a mistake. She has shown she has the skills to put up a good fight on any level to get elected.
