To land in that crosswind, I hope the plane was really low on fuel, otherwise he should have diverted. That said, thats a good pilot.

In europe many airliners us an ALS, automatic landing system, wonder if the pilot was using that. With that the pilot keeps his hadns off the controls, and lets a computer land the aircraft.

It might have been windshear next to the runway. Not that I want to be in a crash, I would have enjoyed that little ride if I was on board. Whoa! More popcorn please!

(For those that don't know, planes land "sideways" a lot often than you think, although usually not like this.)
