Was Listening to Kufo the other day and they were playing a block of Bush from the 1990's. As I was listening in my car, I had forgotten how awesome Bush were. "Sixteen Stone" by Bush Was a killer album, and for some reason the songs sound better today then they did when they first came out 15 year ago. Probably because a majority of the rock today is Crap!
What do you think is the best album from the 90's?

Southern Harmony and Musical Companion is right up there for me, I really dug the Black Crowes.

Other notable ones -

-Stone Temple Pilots first release
-Guns N Roses - Use Your Illusions I and II (Axl is an ass, but musically he's brilliant)
-AC/DC - The Razors Edge
-Alice In Chains - Dirt
-Maybe I'm biased, and it got next to no airplay, but Rush - Counterparts is FANTASTIC.

Live "Throwing Copper".- That whole album was AWESOME!
(By the way, radio stations need too quit playing "Lightning Crashes". There are so many better songs on that CD. Infact "Lightning Crashes" is one of he weakest songs on the CD. Play something else!

Maybe not the greatest album of the 90's but certainly worth mentioning because it's by one of the greatest guitar players of all time!

Pilgrim by Eric Clapton.

Sorry Trixter, BUT Trixter was an 80's metal band, not a 90's metal band. Thankfully that band died off by 1990:-)

I'm not that much of a blues guy, except when it rings true. Since he was still alive in 1990, I'll vote for SRV.

That's a good one Herb.

I remember getting turned onto Stevie Ray Vaughn in 1991, I was delivering a pizza to a jock at KKZX here in Spokane, and as a tip he gave me a CD of The Sky Is Crying. I gave it a test spin ... and instantly loved it.

Stevie Ray Vaughn ranks as one of the top 5 guitar players EVER!

There are a few, but not many, artists/groups that I can honestly say that I've never heard a song I didn't like from. SRV is one of them. Creedence too!

I don't think any of them are dead. The mother hosted a program recently on the Hallmark Channel and the oldest daughter is going through a nasty divorce. Her ex-husband is an a alleged child molester (don't know if he's been found guilty). The youngest daughter is married to a famous race car driver.
