Just had a pepper baccon Cheeseburger basket with The walla Walla onion Rings yesterday. MY GOD are those onion rings good!
I smothered them with Catsup and washed it down with a coke.
Im telling ya, Burgerville makes the best onion Rings PERIOD!
I'll be in heaven for the next 2 months since they will only be around for another 2 months.

If I ever had to leave oregon I would have severe Burgerville withdrawl, that place is just so tasty.

Whats your favorite summer food, and do you also agree that Burgerville has the best onion rings?
Please do share.

"Whats your favorite summer food, and do you also agree that Burgerville has the best onion rings?"

Hamburgers (20%, the only kind of burger to buy for grilling I think) are often a staple on the grille. I usually make those myself, specifically because of............

........Grilled salmon (or salmon in general, regardless of how it is prepared): I had to eat so much of that stuff as a child that when I even as much as look at a salmon today it's enough to induce vomiting. (Sometimes the smell of it cooking makes me gag.) Bleccchhhh.

The only reason I mentioned grilled salmon here in conjunction with burgers is because that's Dad's favourite thing to prepare. In fact, he grilles it so long you practically end up with a nice lump of rendered carbon on your plate. Cremated salmon is much closer to the truth in this case.

Onion rings: no, I really can't agree that those at Burgerville are the best. I don't even like onion rings, period............

(But I do love their strawberry milkshakes!)

Those rings rock, plain and simple.  They almost make a meal themselves.

Argh, those onion rings are one thing I miss about Portland ... now I live 300 miles from the nearest Burgerville!

I wonder if I can con Zip's into carrying Walla Walla Sweet onion rings ... I doubt it.

Not to knock Burgerville, but The Steakburger in Hazel Dell has the best Onion Rings!

Burgerville is still tops in the fast food dept in my book though.

Breaded onion rings are good while I really dislike the battered onion rings as they tend to be almost always just magnets/sponges for the grease they were cooked in. So what are Bugerville's like? Those of us in the Salem-Keizer area are no longer blessed with the worlds greatest fast food restaurant. Gosh its been a very long time since the only Burgerville in Salem closed! Rumor was that Keizer Station was gonna have one but I am starting to wonder.

Agreed, Burgerville onion rings are the best, but ... catsup??? Try dipping them in ranch dressing instead - the buttermilk tang contrasts perfectly with the greasy mild sweetness of the rings (works for regular fries too).
