Is it just me or are things getting a bit bored around here? I propose a challenge to all posters here on the Politics and other things side. Request and or introduce just one person who may or may not have ever heard of our community here before to come aboard by first lurking and secondly then to register and post. It does not matter where there political leanings lie other than that they be of intelligent/semi half assed educated individuals.

I already put out the challange to one of my fathers associates that he needs to see what we are upto here. This man is intelligent indeed and unlike some people who have posted here before can indeed back-up his military background and has something to add to this tight-knit community. Yeah so OK he's a Rightie but at least we can and have had in the past heated "agree to disagree" arguments and debates over drinks. He is an inspiration of mine and regardless of his political leanings is someone who I want to be like when I grow older.

So what do you all think is this an appropriate challenge?

How about just a challenge to those already here to come up with new and interesting topics instead of beating the dead horses over and over again!

I just wish more people would start posting instead of lurking. Do you realize how many people in portland come on this board just to lurk and never post? I would bet THOUSANDS, seriously. Everybody in radio Knows about PDXRADIO.COM. Their life would be so much more fufilling if they just started posting.

I second that! He should pop in here some time. I think that it would help a lot if we had some new topics that don't degenerate into finger-pointing and name-calling. (Now, that's a challenge. )
