I don't think Val Kilmer could actually fit in the cockpit in his current state. He has for sure packed on the pork!

Rumor has it the he will be the voice of "FatMan", a Batman spoof film.

OMG. You've got to be kidding. It would be the hokiest sequel – which there are many. What about Risky Business II? I'm sure there is someone in Hollywood that wrote a script for such a possibility.

I guess there are two ways to interpret this topic, sequels that shouldn't be made because the original is bad, or shouldn't be made because the original was so good.

I'm glad nobody has sequeled "The Graduate", although I believe there has been talk over the years. Can't top the original there.

Not exactly a sequel, but...

Rumor Has It... (2005)

Jennifer Aniston plays a woman who learns that her family was the inspiration for the book and film "The Graduate" -- and that she just might be the offspring of the well-documented event.

No a sequel to Top Gun just won't work. NOW the sequel that must be made is Cocktail. Yeah baby! Opening scene is Tom Cruise getting the diagnosis of cirrosis of the liver, and that his server's permit has been revoked.

Another annoying trend is making old television series into movies. The idea of making Bewitched into a 90 minute movie defies comprehension. The series characters were classic, and to attempt to replicate it on the big screen doesn’t do anyone justice expect perhaps the company that owns the rights to Bewitched.

Speaking of "Where are they now?", I for some inexplicable reason was wondering what ever happened to Michael Pare'.

(feels like a thread hijack coming on...)

I loved The Greatest American Hero. LOL. But I must admit that for a 13 year old kid, I wasn't much into his work in Eddie and the Cruisers.

Anyone remember the "Lost Boys"? I just saw that the video release of the sequel "Lost Boys: The Tribe" is due out tuesday. I did not even know they made a sequel. Theres no way it could top the original but I plan to rent it and see.

Ya, I think i'll just rent it. If it's worth a damn I may then buy it. Only one Corey has a main role, I think the other has just a cameo appearance as do others from the original!

Stargate Continuum looks good though:
