With all that R&D spent on the cloak of invisibility, I guess my hopes for the Cone of Silence to be developed before the end of the Bush administration ain't gonna happen.

Another Star Trek fantasy gadget gone real. Think about it.
Hand held communications, hand held analyzers, laser like weaponry, holygraphic fantasy environments, time/space shifting matter (beam me up) (yes, they have made particles show up at a point previous in time to when they leave and at a different point) and now cloaking.

What next? How about moving large objects faster than light ...
