Here is some new Guns n roses music that has been leaked to the internet.
While I heard this is not on "chinese Democracy" it is definitely new Guns n roses. I actually like the song, but then again, I think everything guns n roses did was genius. Its definitely got a different sound than the classic guns n roses sound, which I think is good because bands need to evolve or else they become stale. The new stuff sounds very Rolling Stones-ish to me.

What a drag it is getting crap!

This is not Guns n roses, this is the Axl Rose band, with no other original members. I've just about given up on Guns N roses, they have waited way too long to put out a new record. If Axl rose was smart, he would have changed the name of the band since he is now the only original member left. I don't think the die hard Guns N roses fans are going to accept this album if this is what it sounds like.
Times have changed, so has music. The diehard fans are going to want another "appetite for destruction" which this won't be. The days of 80's metal sounding groups are GONE!


Meanwhile I'm still waiting for the new Velvet Revolver album

Hey Beano, pickup a copy of the Scorpions latest "Humanity Hour I". If it's possible they sound better today than in the eighties!

Just heard on KUFO that they have confirmed that the new Guns n roses album will be coming out soon and it will be a WALLMART EXCLUSIVE, sold only at wallmart.

So let me see here, ACDC's new album will be sold only at Wallmart and Guns n Roses new album will be sold only at Wallmart.

What I'm wondering is, whats the point of a band like ACDC selling an album only at Wallmart? Doesn't ACDC or Guns n Roses want as many people as possible to buy their cd?? I would think this would cut down the album sales because A lot of people don't live anywhere near a Wallmart. Where is the closest Wallmart to portland???

Eagles Long Road Out Of Eden was mediocre at best and the Journey exclusive, face it, it's not Steve Perry Journey. I hope AC/DC is smarter than that!!!

I didn't like the last AC/DC album, I actually thought it was crap, so they can only go up from their last album.

Obviously it doesn't take much to please WalMart shoppers, so if one is gonna peddle crap, WalMart is the place to do it.

It almost seems like Wallmart is starting to hold a monopoly on the music industry. If bands like GNR and ACDCs new material is only found at Wallmart than they are putting the record stores out of business(not that there are many left.)

BENTONVILLE, Arkansas, August 18 (UPI) -- Heavy metal band AC/DC's new album will be distributed only through Wal-Mart stores in the United States, company officials said Monday.

The album is called Black Ice and is the veteran rockers' 16th studio effort. It will be available only at Wal-Mart stores October 20, and represents the latest in a series of exclusive music deals for the giant retailer based in Bentonville, Arkansas, The Wall Street Journal reported.

But analysts also noted the move comes at a time when Wal-Mart is letting it be known to the music industry that it's planning to stock fewer CDs. They say that's part of a larger downward CD sales trend that's picking up steam as more and more consumers make the transition from discs to digital music.

AC/DC's fellow classic rockers The Eagles and Journey earlier concluded exclusive deals with Wal-Mart and found success with it, the Journal said, noting that The Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden was the third-best selling album of 2007.

Ya, I bought that Eagles CD, wish I had not though. I was anxious to hear something new from them as a fan and was let down as I am sure many were! It was good just not great!

I don't go to Wal-Mart all that often but I will get a copy next time I go. As long as we are talking about Journey, do you own a copy of "Trial By Fire"? Great CD and I think it is the last Perry/Journey studio album!

Add U2 to the list of rock legends that are putting out a new album. Just heard that they will be releasing a new album in a couple of months.

Just heard the new Metallica world Premier on Kufo yesterday.

I like the song, its around 8 minutes long and it almost sounds like 2 songs in one. The first half starts off with a real mellow/black album/load album, Than the second half of the song gets all crazy with guitars and sounds like the early Metallica.
I think this album will do well, so far its a huge Step in the right direction, especially after that disasterous album they put out a few years back.

So JT, have you seen the trailer for Death Race? During the trailer they play GNR "Welcome To The Jungle". I don't think they are featured in the movie soundtrack though.

Havent seen it. Still waiting to hear the new Guns N Roses album though. Even though I have heard some of it already and its not overly impressive, I still think the new album will be cool.
I think the Hype alone is going to destroy the new GNR album. No matter how good it is, its going to get dogged by critics because this is one of the most anticipated rock albums ever.
