Nice!!

They've not tweaked the formula at all!

Always liked these guys because it's about style and attitude. Good to see they've not changed that up.

I'm impressed.

They haven't changed their straight-at-you style in years. It's good to see!

Cool. Only I heard that their CD would only be available at Walmart. Not even for ACDC would I walk into a Walmart.

Yup I heard the new ACDC song on both KGON and KUFO today on my way home from work. Both stations played the new single within 5 minutes of each other.

The new song is not bad, but its nothing new either. Infact the new single sounds like it came off the album "highway to hell" or "back in black". I'll probably buy a copy of the cd.

ACDC is one of the few bands that have kept their same trademark sound for almost 30 years.

Scorpions have changed their sound a little bit.
I really enjoy the first song off the scorpions new album but It doesn't quite sound like a scorpions song, that being said, I like it.

The new ACDC song ROCKS! I love it. I just heard it in its entirety on KUFO and it is great!

ACDC are back with an awesome new single! I hope the whole album is this good!

Lets see here- The new Metallica is sounding good and the new ACDC is sounding good!

So far so good with new releases!

Next up? The new GNR album.

ACDC is one of the few bands that have kept their same trademark sound for almost 30 years.

"Blow up your Video" from 1988 was downright awful and hardly sounded like vintage AC/DC. And "Ballbreaker" was a stinkfest as well. And don't get me started on "Flick of the Switch."
I believe that "Black Ice" will bring AC/DC back to the forefront of Rock once again.
"Black Ice" reminds me of a mix of "Fly on the Wall" and "Back in Black."

Hey Inthemiddle,

I'm not saying that ACDC hasn't put out their share of Crappy albums because YES THEY HAVE!
Stiff Upper Lip was anothe Crappy ACDC album.
But that being said, they still were true to their sound, they just released some weak material.

"blow up your video" Was CRAP but it still sounded like ACDC, just Really WEAK ACDC.

I respectfully disagree about Flick Of The Switch, Inthemiddle. IMHO, one of the most underrated AC/DC albums ever.

Blow Up Your Video was far from their best effort, but not horrible. Ballbreaker, now that was bad.

I really like this one though ... I am gonna brave Wally World and get it!

And when they hit town, anyone who hasn't seen AC/DC, GO! OMG worth the price of admission!

Hey Brianl- I havent seen ACDC live and Im dying to see them live.

Im also dying to see Metallica, who will be at the Rose Garden Next month!!! SWEEEEEEEET!
Good Stuff!

So many good Classic rock bands coming out with new material it is Unbelievable. So Many great concerts to see.

The only problem I've noticed with these Classic rock bands is that the ticket prices are always super expensive- 70-80 bucks a show. That just starts getting too spendy for me. Although I want to see ACDC and Metallica so BAD, i may have to start saving all my pennies so I can attend some of these shows!

I saw Metallica on their Black Album tour ... good show, but IMHO they don't have the showmanship of AC/DC.

Angus, the little old fart he is, goes absolutely nuts. They just know how to put on a tremendous show, you can tell they really enjoy what they do.

I saw the Black album tour in Miami from the snake pit...Awesome show, but I'm not so sure I want to be that close again: the spitting was a bit over the edge for me. Thankfully, I was not directly in the line of fire!

I love the new Metallica, and if TOOL can get airplay with a seven minute song, so should Metallica. This is how I'd hoped they would sound this time around.

The new AC/DC rocks, too! Love the intro by Angus :-) You can buy the CD from AC/DC's website, if you're not going to WalMart...

We are 4/4 in rockin' new releases from classic artists so far this year! I look forward to the Paul Rodgers/ Queen release.

If the tour comes to Portland everyone needs to go even if your not a big AC/DC fan. If Brain Johnson's voice is up to par which it sounds like it is on this album. Then you have to see them! Angus is worth the price of the ticket period.

I love the new Metallica.

It sounds like they tried too hard to make this a cross between "And Justice for All" and The Black Album.

I remember back in 1982 at Radio City I got my first taste of Metallica. Unbefuckinglieveable is all I can say. Wish to Christ they could/would go back to those days. Oh well such is life.
Check out "Kill em All" and "Master of Puppets" for true kick ass Metallica music.

It is awesome to hear that the classic rockers are still putting out some great new material.
Now I just read that Aerosmith will be putting out a brand new album in the beginning of 2009.
I've heard that it is going to be a "REAL" rock album. I really want Aerosmith to come out with a good album but their last album "Just push play" was such an embarrasing piece of soccer mom CRAP that I don't know if they can ever recover.
BUT I have Faith in Aerosmith, I KNOW they can get back to their rock roots and am hoping that they will with the new album that will be out soon!

Sad news for Portland fans ...

AC/DC will be at KeyArena Saturday, Nov. 29th, and at the Tacoma Dome Sunday, Nov. 30th.

Tickets go on sale today according to their Web site.

HMMMMM, ROAD TRIP!!!! I might well have to do a double dip!

Oh for sure!!! ACDC is well worth the trip!

This brings up an interesting question of why do a lot of bands always skip out on portland?
