The reports on the news last night said McCain's event was having trouble rounding up 10,000 old white guys.

"ah...but will the masses vote in November where the numbers really count."

Yes. I believe so.

The real question is, will they all be counted?

It's gonna be a fair election this time around. The Bush machine is out of gas, McCain isn't connected to the people Bush was, and the Republican party is in shambles. The American public will not get fooled 3 times in a row.

I think that Democrats have learned that the only way to overide Republican malfeasance in election fraud is to overwhelm with numbers.

So far, so good.

"....trouble rounding up 10,000 old white guys."

Seems to me they could round up that many by canvassing the restroom stalls at MSP.

Yes, there are such a thing as young Republicans. I've met some of them before. I didn't hold it against them.

Indoctorated by parents and or brainwashed by there pastor Newflyer, Yes I agree there are SOME young Republicans but there actually may be more Matt Drudge's (Log Cabin "gay" Republicans) out there than young Republicans.

Disclaimer: It is my opinion that Matt Drudge is not only one of this countries best journalists but also possibly one of the greatest of all time!

If "young" in the context of "Young Republicans" means roughly age 19 and younger, then couldn't it be said that most people in that age group who identify with a political party or ideology likely got there because of the "brainwashing" of people close to them, such as parents, clergy, teachers, etc? Otherwise, please explain what "natural"
tendency young people have that would make them pick the Democrats or the Green Party.

Young Republicans are composed of two distinct groups.

The children of the privileged and wealthiest Americans and the children of the extreme right wing conservatives whom just aren't strong enough to learn to think for themselves.
