What does McCain's kid's behavior have to do with his ability to be president? Did the bank improperly try to influence McCain? Otherwise, I don't see how it's relevant. |

Do you think McCain's son got to where he's at all on his own? Do you think McCain himself got to his place on his own? The point is, for three generations the sons have ridden the coattails of their father and family connections. |

McCain married money and that, not his family, seems to have led to his political career and power. You may well be right about his son, as was also true of George W. Bush when was offered the sweetheart deal to buy into the Texas Rangers while Daddy was president. But this was more a reflection on the son and corrupt influences than on the father. If John McCain's kid runs for president, then the bank thing would seem relevant. Not so much for John McCain in my opinion. |
