How's that?

Or are you going cut and run like you did with your other BS post on this side?

And you have a source for that?

The man is not a racist. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/03/18/obama-race-speech-read-t_n_92077.html

Assuming you can prove he brings it up the most often, please detail how that supports Obama being racist.

He is the one who brings it up (racism) most in the campaign. -- Broadway

Your remark is contrary to the facts Broadway.

Senator Obama has gone to great pains NOT to make race an issue this campaign. He's smart enough to realize that even in the 21st century, there are plenty of bigots in this country and in order to neutralize it as a campaign issue, and he discusses it as little as possible. In fact, some in the African-American community have accused Senator Obama of not taking a firmer line on the whole matter of race.

What's more disturbing is how others accuse Senator Obama of being a racist, which is in and of itself a form of subtle racism. That’s the kind of garbage Jesse Helms and his ilk would use.

Vern and Broadway, I recall that Barack Obama delivered one speech in Philadelphia that focused on race in our country. It was widely acclaimed, undeniably historic and all inclusive in scope.

The Obama campaign has not focused on divisions based on race, age or gender politics to bolster their message. At no point have they played the race card, the age card or the gender card. So, please, give those talking points a rest.

Without much evidence to the contrary, I am left to conclude that either you are not very bright, or that it really chaps your ass to be ignored by the cops when you slosh by on a bar crawl in your Buick.

This is silly season folks.

George Fox is a good school, but even good schools have bad students. Christian colleges are every bit as vulnerable to hate politics as secular institutions. I hope that the faculty addresses this in a way that educates the student body and justly punishes the perpetrators.

The "look like face on dollar bill" comment and comments in his speeches refering to..."oh...and he's black"...done repeatedly...and I don't think he's done...

Let's review history, StevetheDJ as you're so fond of writing in your posts. You don't recall the e-mails you sent me and how complimentary you were of my posts then you tell me to pull my head out of my ass. I'm a bit confused by your schizophrenic sensibilities. Perhaps the medication not working?

I attacked your friend? If your friend makes racist remarks, then he makes racist remarks. It's certainly your prerogative to defend him, but he's prone to making these sorts of comments and it doesn’t speak well of him or those who defend him.

And as for your remark that if I don't agree with someone they are a racist. That's rubbish.

I didn’t need to call your friend a racist because he has certainly posted material on pdxradio.com which one of moderate intellect could easily construe as racist. Go figure.

My conscience is totally at ease and in peace to know that I have not a racist bone in my body...my Dad raised my brothers and I way back in the 60's to look at people of color as equal...treat them as our human brothers with respect...and to this day I encourage many hispanic and black homeless people in my city.
To learn and hear the life stories of all backgrounds/races is a joy...why would I want to ruin that?

That's great. Why doesn't that same standard of treatment not apply to Senator Obama? You can have philosophical differences with people without interjecting race.

George Fox is a college Newberg doesn't need. Seriously.

There, I said it.

In fact, it would benefit the entire Newberg school district if George Fox would leave town, pronto.

Anyhoo, I'm off topic.
