If you or your family or any of your friends have not yet registered to vote, today is your last chance.

Got one done today, right under the wire. Delivered it over lunch today.

Lines at the election center were modest, the workers are enjoying this time. Lots of attention and lots of people wanting to vote.

The post office at the Airport accepts mail pretty darn late. Used to be 24 hours, but the usual cuts have impacted that.

Pretty sure it's at least 10:00 though.

Do it Beano. This is a historic vote.

For Oregon: If you mailed your reg card, you must also include a photocopy of your photo ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) If you turn the card in in person or gave it to someone doing a voter registration drive, this photo ID requirement is waived.

If you moved but live in the same county as your old address where you were previously registered, you can STILL change your address after the deadline, get a ballot, and vote. But you will have to go to the county elections office to do so. If you do so after ballots are mailed out, they will probably give you a ballot on the spot.

If you were previously registered in Oregon in a different county and are simply changing your address, you MAY still be able to vote - not sure. I'd still check with your current county's elections office.

Andrew
