Andrew, Those are so excellent! Love the toilet, the vulture, peeing statue and the "Crazy Bitch" sign!

(Is it your house?)

Obviously, you didn't look closely enough at all the photos.

The sale sign says:

For Sale - Republicans

LOL! No, not my house. Noticed it last night driving home, had to come back the next day to shot the pics. It's even cooler at night, because they have two alternating strobe lights behind the American flags! And I think everything is lit up...

Today as I was shooting the pics a woman came out of the side of the house to her car - wasn't sure if she had come out of that house or the one next door. I asked her if this was her house? She hesitated then said, "Yes." I told her I thought it was hilarious and she said, "Thanks." and drove off. It's curious she didn't seem eager to talk to me - maybe she had roommates who did more of the work or something...

Andrew, those are some great shots. Thanks for sharing them with us. I wonder if her reticence to talk to you was due to hostile reactions from a few less than amused folks. Turning bitterness into humor is good therapy. We could all use a few more laughs. While not as focused on this specific election, the long standing "Tree of Shame" is part of another iconic Portland yard dedicated to political art. It is also worth visiting for pictures.
