This software is a win32 compatability layer for Linux and Mac Intel based computers, built from the WINE project. WINE is a project that allows native win32 executables to run, unmodified, on Linux / Mac computers, without having to install win32, or use a virtual machine.

If you are into other OSes, this is handy stuff to have laying around.
