I have never played the game Quiji sp? And after this story you will know why I will never ever play it period!

Circa college days of 95-98 I was asked by some co-workers to burn a gameboard the night after they had played and had for unknown reasons a very unpleasent experience.

Well that piece of cardboard would not burn it would only char around the edges. Lighter fluid, even gas did not do the trick.

Scary radio studio story here...no campfires allowed in there.

I used to work the overnights at Mix 106. Our studio was on the third floor of a building on Barbur Blvd. overlooking I-5. When standing at the board, you could look out these huge windows onto the parking lot. It was a stormy windy winter night. I was reading "The Fog" by Stephen King. There is a part in the story where everyone is barricaded into a grocery store, trying to avoid the evil things flying through the air, or something like that. The people in the store are piling stuff against the big windows because the evil things are slamming against the window. Right at the moment I am reading about these things slamming into the window, the wind slams a tree branch into the studio window. I threw the book, ran screaming from the studio! Never been so scared in my life! Ha, ha...

Scary story:

John McCain unexpectedly wins 95% of the black vote and wins an easy victory on November 4th. On inauguration day, just after noon after McCain gives his speech, Sarah Palin hugs McCain; he has an allergic reaction to her purfume, and lapses into a permanent coma. Palin is simply sworn on in the same platform as president.

Oh, and on that same day, GM announces last-quarter earnings are worse than expected and their stock plunges, making my 50 shares almost worthless.

You hear a tap at the door tonight. You open it, expecting to be greeted by trick-or-treaters.

As the door swings open, you are instead greeted by Broadway Dan, Wayne, and DigitalDextor!!! They have come to convince you to vote McCain/Palin.

Yeah, she has the right to do that, but c'mon, the kids don't vote. She's picking on the wrong group.

I hope McCain wins too, but I didn't ask a single kid who they were supporting! (Because it doesn't matter, they don't vote!)

Halloween is for the kids.

There was a kid in our neighborhood who dressed as a ballot box divided into an Obama half and a McCain half. At the end of the night he had 137 pieces of candy in the Obama side and 21 pieces of candy in the McCain side.

And 1 write in vote for Nader.
