Greg Oden is just bad news for the blazers. So His foot injury will keep him out another 2-4 weeks.

No offense to Graig Oden, but I'm starting to think the guy is just injury prone. The guy is huge, over 7 feet, it amazes me that he can injure himself so easily.

Now that being said, the guy does have great tate in food, especially since he was spotted at "5 guys Guys, Burgers and Fries" HA!

I was baffled when the guy was treated like a conqueror right after he was drafted. The Blazers put his jersey up on the outside of the Rose Garden, which was way too overzealous in my opinion. They held a rally for the guy at Pioneer Courthouse Square for crying out loud, before he played in a single game for the Blazers!!! Did Clyde ever get such acclaim at the height of his career in Portland?

Oden could turn out to be the next Shaq, but let him prove it first (assuming he can stay healthy). Let fans worship him once he actually does something here. Lose the hype.

No one feels worse than Greg Oden. People forget that Jordan suffered through some early year injuries, one that took him out for almost an entire season.

Professional sports is brutal on a body, that's why these guys are as good as they are. But injuries are apart of the sport. You would be amazed how much pain these guys actually play in and are still as good as they are.

Lets not play the Sam Bowie card yet. Give the kid a break. I do agree that I thought the Blazers gave Oden the Obama treatment waaay too soon.

The Blazers have a good nucleus of young talent who have played very well at times.

Patience people. Patience.

OK. But in GAME #1? That's a bit trying. I'm certain he didn't mean for it to happen. But DANG, man.

I was tempted to say here we go again with the injury thing, but if you look at the way his foot bent it's amazing he even stayed in the game 11 more minutes. Anyone would have sprained their foot in the same situation. More of a concern to me is that he may become too careful when he plays and never fulfill his potential because he's always trying to not get hurt instead of just playing the game.

My guess is when he comes back he will not be in the starting 5. He needs to come off the bench, to relieve some of the pressure of being the starter, much like the way Travis Outlaw usually plays better in the 2nd unit than when he starts.

OK. But in GAME #1?

With Jordan it was game #3 and he missed 89% of the that season. The next year he hurt his knee/ankle and missed 2 months. Sometimes the best don't start out that way..... But what do I know.... I'm a Cavs fan... Since 80'!!!!!
The Blazers were 41-41 last year and if they win 45/46 they will be lucky. But wait until year 3 with these guys together... Watch out! If everyone stays healthy they will be damn good for years to come.
Out in the 1st round of the playoffs this year....
Out in the second round 2009...
2010 Western Conference title game...
2011 WC Champs lose in 6 in Championship
2012 World Champs

Just a rough guesstimate.....

Flame on Laker fans...

Who are you calling a Laker fan? I hate the Lakers. I hope the Lakers die.
