Ok, lets hear it, what candies are you handing out to the Trick Or Treaters?

I can't believe how many idiots would hand out boxes of Raisins or Tooth brushes when I was a kid. Those were usually the houses that woke up to "Smashing Pumpkins" in their driveway. (not the rock group)

A mixture of Nestle's Crunch, Butterfinger, Hershey Bars and Tootsie Rolls, with a bunch of the mini Rice Krispy Treats thrown in for ballast.

Total cost: $12.08 at Walgreen's on 164th by Freddy's, at about 5:00 this evening.

(Yeah, they had FREE PUMPKINS at Freddy's on 164th too! I boughtshoplifted 5. If you hurry they might still have some, if they aren't gone by now......)

Damn.......someone in another unit's giving out little vending-pack bags of Doritos and Cheetoes tonight.......looks like next year, my buzz-words will be "Tim's Cascade Style"......buwhahahahahaa!!

Justin, my parents used to hand out little boxes of raisins years ago. Never did the toothbrush thing tho.....fortunately.....

Starburst
Skittles
Reeces Peanut Butter Cups
Milky Way
Kit Kat

And I tell them to take two of their choice.

I'm sitting upstairs with the lights out avoiding the whole thing and eating all the various Reese's products myself.

I guess that makes me sour. :-(

I bought a bag of stuff that I figured I wouldn't touch and well I am stuck now with almost a whole bag of Blowpops, Charms, Sugar Daddies (I ate all the sugarbabies)

And for myself and the adults I bought Gharadelli chocolate squares

One year we did an experiment, offering candy bars *and* small boxes of raisins. Very rarely would a kid choose the raisins (about 20 to 1), and usually only on prompting from an adult. We ate a lot of raisins that year!

Yes Mrs. M. found her a great home even though the first meeting with THEIR pit bull was a bit feisty!

Think I'm caught up.

Best to all y'all. Take care.
