So are you braving the weather and driving out to the malls, Or are you doing all your shopping off AMAZON.com?? The Yugo has chains on the tires and does surprising well on the roads. I was out in the Yugo yesterday and it was purring like a kitty. Im not worried about getting myself into an accident, it's the other idiots on the road I'm worried about!!! Yes, I saw plenty of cars without chains that were sliding all over the road!
It's gift cards for most of my family members this year, not to mention I.O.U. Cards also. I purchased some stuff off E bay and Amazon, and it won't be here tell after next week.
What are you doing??

As little shopping as possible. And where we have decided to actually buy something, we've done it online, or at a local store.

Have avoided the big chains and malls huge. It's rapidly becoming an annual tradition.

I woke up and sat straight out of bed in sheer panic this morning. 4 a.m.

The weather royally screwed me. But it got all done today.

"So are you braving the weather and driving out to the malls,..."

Yup.

Besides, with the relatives being delayed, I have some extra time to finish my Christmas shopping! Couldn't make it out last week because of the weather. Driving up and down hills (there are a LOT of hills in Vancouver) when the roads are icy, for me, is frightening even WITH chains and snow-tyres installed on the Bronco.

(I was at Freddy's earlier today and Mill Plain doesn't seem that bad now, because the temperatures are rising somewhat and the snow is melting. Next week if I'm brave enough, maybe I'll hit Van Mall after some of the post-Kalikimaka rush has died down.)

Yup also, except not to the malls very much.

Once to Vancouver Mall but the rest of the time places like Best Buy, Target, Wal Mart, etc.

But mostly just driving around burning fossil fuel and enjoying the heck out of the snow!

Aired the tires on the Cruiser down to about 12 psi and have had no problems.

I tell you what, it's helping me right now. I just started home delivery (a novel concept for Schmizza), and with five plus feet on the ground, people are taking darn good advantage of it. Let 'em get snowed in!
