It seems that every time that I've listened to Dr. Demento on KCMD, the episodes are months out of date, and I have heard individual episodes re-run several times. Why doesn't KCMD have access to current episodes of the show?

Is the Doctor still alive? How old is the guy now? Seems he been around forever.

Dr. Demento (Barret Eugene Hansen) is still very much alive and kicking at 67.

What time is he on KCMD? The Wikipedia link says:

# KCMD 970 AM: Portland, Oregon, Sunday 1 - 3 PM
# KLOO 106.3 FM: Corvallis, Oregon, Sunday 7 - 9 PM

But he is not on KCMD now (1:30 Sun)... The Dr. Dememto site does not mention KCMD anymore.

He was on last week on the 1:00-3:00 timeslot with a rerun of his "Hippies" show. Today, I heard a Rick Emerson rerun in the 1:00-3:00 PM slot.

Well, KLOO seems to be a week behind... They are running the program for 4/6/08 "Baseball".

7:30... perhaps I misunderstood, I don't hear any tunes with a baseball theme.

8:10... bunch of tunes with "I" and "me"... sounds like it *is* the correct program for today. #08-15 4/13/08 - Ourselves (songs with "I" or "me" in the title).
