Clarke Moore did retire from KMGE and MRB. The link is to the audio with some old photos of Clark. He had a pretty nice career and was a gem to work with.

Clarke stopped by the Mix 94.5 thread but he deserves his own spot here.

Best wishes to one of the best voice talents in Oregon. I still have those "THE SOUND OF SOLID GOLD liners playing in my head from KPNW.

Clarke was great to work with! remember his relatives coming out from Wisconson to visit one year they stopped by the studios and they were just mesmerized that he was a DJ. His nephew was really blown away! I even had his nephew and brother I believe do a liner and replayed several times that day so they could her over the air during their brief visit in Eugene. Clarke thought that was pretty cool. I wish him the best in retirement but hope he does some voice over work maybe even VT at some station. Take care Snake!!!!

Mild mannered Clarke has been a unwaivering steady professional from the day I met him at KDUKs historic Matthews House in Coburg.

He had a entertaining morning show with Mike Parker.

At 5:59am both would speed in the Matthews House parking lot, Clarke ran upstairs in the control room just as the music was fading, Parker riped AP news copy, and ran in the control room just in time for the news....with news copy trailing out the door!

They never missed a beat and were true pros. Good times. Best wishes Clarke!
