Hey, those radios aren't wearing their leatherette cases!

If they weren't GIF images I'd save some of them to my screen-saver slide show.

There are many more images free for the copying in the eBay collectibles section.

Geez, I ended up looking at all 29 pages. Spotted about a dozen I used to have (or still have) or belonged to someone else.

AHHHH the days of AM Standard Broadcast radio!
Yes, found my Dad's first transister radio, a Sony TR-620 that blew my mind when I first held it at 7 years old. Have it buried in the house somewhere. Only worth around $20 bucks on Ebay.

I hope to find my 970 The Beat poster with the Zenith transistor radio and the words "Rock and roll the way it was meant to be heard - squeezed down and blasted through some crappy AM radio!"

I still have my first radio from about 1960. It's a Columbia with a cream colored built-in leather case and see through knobs for volume and tuning on either side.

Kent, if you can manage a scan of that someday, I would absolutely love a copy!

That's one of my favorite promo lines of all time. When they played it, I always chucked a little, remembering my 8 transistor SONY and KGW.

Great links Jeff!

If I was not collecting retro game stuff, I would be piling up radios somewhere.
