http://www.pdxradio.com/fbackold.htm It looks like my first post was September 1, 1998.

The regular archives only go back to 2006. This walk down memory lane is from the original forum.

I think the early posts have been up there for sometime now.

...but I didn't find them in the regular archives. I just happened to stumble onto them. I'll tell you what I did when I have more time.

Ahhh - the era before spell check was built in. How adorable.

Tragically, I haven't become a better speller since then.

The really deep archives have been there for years.

I think there was at least one thread prior to those posted that was lost. I recall an early conversation about rap on KRRC that my "Find in this page" feature didn't locate.

The last link is part of the same. OK, here's what I did: On the main feedback yak page, I clicked on "archives" which took me to "What's going on here?" which begot "restoration of old posts now in progress". It then gave the link with which I started this thread. That's a lot of hoops to jump through, particularly if you don't know what's coming up!

I'm wondering if there are a few folks here who worry about an ancient post being dug up where they praised the accomplishments of a Gov. George W Bush of Texas and that perhaps he'll make a fine White House choice for this divided country?

Does the search function work for archived threads? :-)
