At the risk of sounding uninformed, might Gordon Capps be the father of my former Z100 boss Mark Capps?

Val, Mark is Gordon's grandson. Gordon was the father of Gary and Dave Capps.

Gordon was a terrific guy. My dad worked for him in Ontario almost 60 years ago. Dad always had only the best things to say about him. I almost worked for Gary and Dave in the late 60's at KFLY in Corvallis, But, the FCC pulled the license from the guy they were about to buy the station from and the deal fell through.
Gordon was one of the good guys.
