Bob Spangler, morning man on KNPT for 56 years, and the "Voice of the Cubs" has died. Bob will truly be missed by everyone at YBC Radio, his listeners, and thousands of kids, parents and grandparents that listened to him call Cub sports over 3 generations.

I remember Bob back in the days when I worked for then-competitor KCRF. He always had his fingers on the pulse of the community. I'm sure he will be missed.

And Kevin Duckworth died yesterday 8/25 on the coast and was gonna conduct an event with the station...sad news on the coast this hour...
