Used to be KISN but the political talking heads hosed it.....
Used to be Golden Hours but OPB screwed them over.....
Used to be 91.5 but I pretty much gave up on them recently, due to the knowledge of what they did to Golden Hours.....
And ages upon ages ago it used to be KKCW but then it got invaded/infected by Cheap Channel.....

So now it kinda' looks like KIG98 is my new "favourite". Hey, it's better than nothing and certainly more exciting than WPHG710......... ;o)

But that's on *this* side of the state. When I am in Seattle or in Pendleton I'm usually listening to the Evergreen RRS on one of my SCA rigs, often playing through the line-in on the stereo in the truck.

Well, even though I forgot to mention it on my list, even I used to listen to KINK quite a bit. Of course, that was before KINK started losing its "KINK"......... ;o)

106.3 KLOO-FM is sounding better than ever, now mixing in a small number of newer AAA songs with the fairly wide playlist of classic rock, hippie rock, 90s rock, and a few classic new wave hits.

KIRO has climbed my way near the top of the list, since KPAM is now putting Phil Hendrie on at a time that is too late for me.

If I absolutely had to pick one favorite radio station, I guess it would have to be KBRD.

LS,
Do you stream KBRD, or have you figured out a way to null out co-channel interference from KNBR ?

I just stream it through iTunes, but I have heard it for fleeting moments on trips north. It has been many years since I had a Sanserino Loop and a Kenwood R-1000, but stations like KBRD make me miss it.

Thanks, I can hear it from Hillsboro using home-made loops, but most of the time KNBR is a significant source of interference... interesting music!

I think that CBU 690 and CKZU 6160 might also count! :-) It's too bad that I can't include KGO on the list, as it is too far south to be considered a "Northwest" radio station.
